Five Vegas Aces boys teams opened tournament play locally this past weekend as they continue preparing for their first SoCal Cup qualifying events in October.
The 13-1s, 14 Premier, 14-1s, 15-1s and 16-1s had their first opportunity of the season to compete together in a tournament setting. The five teams finished the weekend with a combined 12–3 record.
It was a positive starting point and an important chance for each team to evaluate its progress, compete through different situations and identify what still needs work before qualifier season begins.

Good Work to Build On
The early results were encouraging, but the focus remains on continuing to improve throughout the next several weeks. Each team will take what it learned from the weekend back into the gym as preparations continue for the first major test of the season.
Next Up: 17-1s and 18-1s
The 17-1s and 18-1s take the court next weekend. After that, all Vegas Aces boys teams will travel to Southern California for their first SoCal Cup qualifying tournaments of the 2026–2027 season.
