• Began his coaching career at age 21
• Extensive coaching experience across the 12U–18U age divisions
• Previously coached at Coast Volleyball Club, earning Junior National bids across the American, National, USA and Open Divisions
• Coaching experience at the club and community college levels
• Brings experience coaching athletes at the high school, collegiate, club and professional levels

High School Coaching

• Led both the girls and boys volleyball programs at Lowell High School in San Francisco for 10 years
• Coached the girls program to 6 championships
• Coached the boys program to 7 championships

Playing Career

• Grew up in Monterey, California in a family of athletes
• Passed up a promising track career to pursue volleyball full time
• Played collegiate volleyball at UC San Diego, competing with both the club and varsity programs
• Later competed with the Cal Men’s Division I Club Team while attending UC Berkeley

Education

• Attended UC San Diego
• Continued his education at the University of California, Berkeley
• Earned his Doctorate in Sports Medicine through a fellowship program with UC Davis
